Outline of a bank-ready DPR

Project, promoters, location, capacity, cost of project, means of finance, key ratios and incentives applied for.

Promoters and the enterprise
Background, experience, constitution, shareholding, existing business and net worth.

Product, market and demand
Product description, target market, competition, pricing basis and marketing arrangements.

Technical details
Process flow, technology, capacity, plant layout, machinery list with suppliers, utilities, raw materials and manpower.

Site, approvals and environment
Land and building, approvals obtained and pending, pollution category and waste handling.

Cost of project and means of finance
Land, building, plant and machinery, other assets, pre-operatives, contingencies and margin for working capital; promoter contribution, term loan and subsidy.

Financial projections
Capacity utilisation, revenue, costs, profitability, cash flows, balance sheets and working-capital assessment over the loan tenure.

Ratios and sensitivity
