Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through indedge.org, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written to align with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Last updated: 2 October 2026.

Who we are

Industree Edge is the consultancy practice of CA Bijendar Bisht, based in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for personal data you share with us through this website. You can reach us at industree.edge@gmail.com.

What we collect

  • Project audit form: name, organisation, email, phone, project type, project size, incentive scope, sector, location, your project outline and, if you completed it, your readiness checklist score.
  • Eligibility check form: name, phone, email, state and district, sector, project cost range, scheme interest and any message you add.
  • WhatsApp, phone and email: whatever you choose to share when you contact us directly, along with your phone number or email address.
  • Technical data: the page from which a form was sent. We do not set advertising or analytics cookies ourselves.

Please do not send bank statements, identity documents or other sensitive records through the website forms. We will request documents through an appropriate channel once we are engaged.

Why we use it

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or contact us, and only for these purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry and assess your project or eligibility.
  • To prepare a proposal or scope of work if you ask for one.
  • To deliver services you engage us for, under a separate engagement letter.
  • To meet legal, professional and regulatory obligations that apply to a Chartered Accountant.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Service providers we use

  • Web3Forms: our form-processing service. When you submit a form, Web3Forms receives the submission and forwards it to our email inbox. It acts as our processor for this purpose. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.
  • Email (Gmail): submissions and emails are received in our Google-hosted mailbox, industree.edge@gmail.com.
  • WhatsApp: if you contact us on WhatsApp, your messages are handled under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Website hosting and embedded content: this site is hosted on Cloudflare, loads fonts and scripts from Google Fonts and public CDNs, and embeds LinkedIn posts on some pages. These providers may receive your IP address and browser details when you load a page, under their own policies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and to follow up on a possible engagement. If you engage us, records are kept for the period required by professional standards and applicable law. When data is no longer needed for these purposes, or if you withdraw consent and no legal requirement applies, we erase it.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

  • Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed.
  • Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your personal data.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect processing already carried out, but we will stop further processing unless the law requires us to retain the data.
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
  • Raise a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, approach the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any of these rights or raise a grievance, email industree.edge@gmail.com with the subject "Personal data request". We will respond within a reasonable time.

Security and children

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) transmission of form submissions and access-controlled mailboxes. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

This website is meant for business users. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its date. Please also read our Terms of Use & Disclaimer.
