ODOP Schemes
One District One Product (ODOP) promotes the product notified for each district of Uttar Pradesh through finance, marketing, training and common facilities. It is run by the ODOP Cell of the Department of MSME & Export Promotion, with applications through the District Industries Centre.
Margin money (financial assistance) scheme
For units making their district's ODOP product, assistance is linked to a bank loan and depends on project cost (GO dated 24.09.2018):
| Project cost | Margin money assistance |
|---|---|
| Up to ₹25 lakh | 25%, up to ₹6.25 lakh |
| ₹25 lakh to ₹50 lakh | ₹6.25 lakh or 20%, whichever is higher |
| ₹50 lakh to ₹1.5 crore | ₹10 lakh or 10%, whichever is higher |
| Above ₹1.5 crore | 10%, up to ₹20 lakh |

Other ODOP schemes
- Common Facility Centre (CFC): for a special purpose vehicle of at least 20 member units, the State funds a high share of the CFC project cost, tapering as the project cost rises. The official sources we checked give differing slabs (the scheme page and the portal FAQ do not match), so we confirm the current rate from the amended GO of 03.10.2023 before preparing a proposal.
- Marketing Development Assistance: 75% of stall cost at fairs and exhibitions, with caps that differ for state and international events.
- Training and toolkit: 10-day skill training with a stipend of ₹200 per day and a toolkit.

How we help
We confirm that your product matches the district's notified ODOP product, prepare a bank-appraisable project report on the margin-money slabs (subsidy DPRs) and coordinate with the DIC and your bank. ODOP support can sit alongside the UP MSME Promotion Policy subject to each scheme's rules on overlapping benefits.
