UP Warehousing & Logistics Policy

The Uttar Pradesh Warehousing & Logistics Policy 2022, with UPSIDA as nodal agency, supports private investment in warehousing, silos, cold chain, inland container depots, logistics parks and related infrastructure. Incentives depend on the project type and on whether the site is in a designated logistics zone.

Status (checked 4 Oct 2026): the policy runs for five years from its 2022 notification. We could not verify the exact end date; check with UPSIDA or Invest UP before planning on it. A standard operating procedure (Hindi) was uploaded on 7 November 2025.

Other incentives

  • Stamp duty: 100%, 75% or 50% exemption by region for storage projects; 100% for dry ports and logistics parks.
  • Land-use change and development charges: 75% concession.
  • Electricity duty: 100% exemption for 10 years.
  • Quality certification: reimbursement up to ₹5 lakh.

Large multi-modal logistics parks (₹1,000 crore and above) are covered separately by the MMLP Policy 2024, with a 30% front-end land subsidy. Incentive applications for logistics are filed on Nivesh Mitra. For approvals on the site, see land and building plan approval.
